Singapore is one of the favorite Asian business travel and leisure vacation destinations. Ethnic groups include Chinese 76.8%, Malay 13.9%, Indian 7.9%, other 1.4%. Malay is Singapore official and national language. Other official languages include English, Chinese and Tamil. Singapore dollars per US dollar exchange rate is about 1.6644 (in 2005).

As a well-ordered society with successful economy and high living standard, Singapore attracts millions visitors from around the world every year.

Although old structure had been knocked down, but most of the landmarks have been well preserved in this "Garden City".
